Wanted: Someone Innocent

The story of Gillian Brayton, orphaned and then orphaned again when her uncle dies, leaving her genteel, well-educated, and impoverished. A twist of fate takes her from an old school reunion to the home of a fabulously well-off school friend, Rita Fayre. However, what could be a fairy story rescue turns dark when Rita is murdered, and Gillian is implicated.

Last Act

The death of a great doyenne of the French stage brings upset and suspicion to the lives of three of her closest connexions: her adopted daughter Margot, her grandson Victor, and the other, disinherited grandson, Denis.
