Death of a Ghost (1934)

Campion moves in many circles, some of them artistic, even Bohemian, such as those found in this novel. At the annual unveiling of the last pictures done by John Lafcadio, a young artist who studied under him, Tom Dacre, is murdered, and Campion, present at the party, is put into the uncomfortable role of having to investigate friends and potential murderers alike. What places do Belle Lafcadio, Max Fastian, the Potters, and other intimes of the Lafcadio circle have to fill on the canvas of murder?

Death of a Ghost was adapted for the first series of 'Campion' by the BBC. For more information, please follow the link at left.
