The last of the three books originally published as serials in Answers magazine, and originally titled The Devil and her Son, The Shadow in the House was later brought out in a cheap edition by Collins, and followed again by an edition published by Doubleday in the US. Although originally published in the serial form under her own name, a decision was taken to bring the books out under the pseudonym of Maxwell March (Thorogood, 1991, p. 156). At present, no other information about this title is available to me. Please continue to check back.
