- Other Man's Danger (Collins, 1933)
- Also titled: The Man of Dangerous Secrets (US)
The first of three books originally published as serials in
Answers magazine (first under the title Dangerous Secrets),
Other Man's Danger was later brough out in a cheap edition
by Collins. Although originally published in the serial form
under her own name, a decision was taken to bring the books out
under the pseudonym of Maxwell March (Thorogood, 1991, p. 156).
The
cover photo at left is from the US edition, which at this writing
is available for sale on ABE Books (see the entry below). However,
don't expect it to come cheaply - the seller in question has
the book priced at US$500. Certainly not pocket change...unless
one has unusually deep pockets.
