TALKING POINTS RE THE WHY, WHAT NOT, WHAT, WHO, HOW & PRODUCTS OF POLITICAL ACTION COORDINATING CONFERENCES (PACCs)

WHY PACCs ?
Thousands of organizations engaged in trying to influence government legislation.  Problem rolls on. Too little coordination among "we the concerned".  Strength in numbers.  Potential influence substantial.  Need to harness the potential and periodically focus it on the few actions that can produce meaningful change.  Existing leaders lack ability and/or time to exercise sound logic or are motivated by wrong reasons.  No individual or organization can unilaterally win our cultural war whose outcome will be LIBERTY or SLAVERY.

Bottom line- Need for unity of spirit and action; ergo - need for
coordinating concept that will:

   1. provide mechanism allowing every participant to present priority
concerns and identify those sharing them and their objective on the concern.

    2. insure participants retain freedom to pursue all objectives while
jointly pursuing those of common interest with others.

   3. make it clear participation doesn't imply endorsement of others
objectives, strategies or tactics but only the sharing of a common goal and a willingness to coordinate with them on actions thought to be mutually beneficial.

PACCs ARE NOT:
An umbrella organization.  An uncontrolled open mike.  A place for
anyone in general disagreement with the Republican governors pledge "to restore to the states and people the prerogatives and freedoms guaranteed them under the Constitution."  Hierarchically structured; i.e., there is no dominant participant; only a moderator.

PACCs ARE:
     A moderated forum:
   1. designed to efficiently facilitate an exchange of information and concerns, identify common concerns and those sharing them and thereby provide an opportunity for unity of action among willing participants.

   2. requiring participants to:
a.  agree to disagree agreeably and with facts; not opinions.
b. present each concern via a one page Executive Summary.
c.  make a decision regarding each presented concern.
d. be represented on Objective Pursuit Team(s) to plan and manage action on each concern.

   3. An excellent vehicle for identifying individuals and/or organizations motivated by results.

THE WHO of PACCs -
Participants must be supportive of the Republican governors pledge and willing to meet the previously stated requirements.  Beyond that,
local participation is open to everyone.   County level participants are individuals representing local teams dedicated to Taking America Back (TAB team).  State level participation is limited to representatives of organizations.
THE HOW of PACCS -
Every PACC should have a moderator chosen by the participants.  Typical agenda is: select a moderator (PACC sponsor can reserve right to appointment), opening ceremonies (invocation and Pledge of Allegiance are musts if PACC is sponsored by CNC affiliates), administrative remarks, OPT reports (old business), presentation of concerns (new business), Q & A session, role call re each introduced concern (fill in matrix), OPT formation, OPT workshops, closing comments of each participant (normal limit-3 minutes though each can yield time to another), closing
announcements, convocation, adjourn.
PACC PRODUCTS -
   Three primary:
   1. A matrix showing the introduced concerns and the participants sharing each of them and the objective(s) related thereto.
   2. Unity of action via Objective Pursuit Teams made up of those
sharing any given concern and having a willingness to work with others in acting on it.

   3. Benefit of knowing which invitees are sincere in wanting to support the governors pledge; thereby providing a firm foundation for discerning who's worthy of support.

Three important PACC byproducts are getting to know who is who and worthy of trust and support, being blessed with an opportunity to fellowship with others of like mind, and just knowing there are others who care enough about America's future to make a serious commitment to help bring about needed changes.
